He’s been killing for hundreds of years.

But he reckoned without her.

Kirsty doesn’t do people, but even she can’t ignore the man being roasted alive on the banks of the Clyde. She batters in to save his life…

And accidentally tears the fabric of time.

Now an ancient serial killer is on the loose and only Kirsty can make him regret he was ever born.

Whatever the cost.

Will she live up to the pressure or will everything she loves be lost forever?

The twisty, laugh out loud funny start to a seductive fantasy series. Buffy meets Outlander with a side order of Taggart. If you like electrifying thrills, Glasgow humour and women who take no prisoners, you’ll love Before Again.

What readers have to say...

Fully invested and enthralled from page 1. Every element of this book makes it sing. From the humor and strength of the badass lead to the mystery of the fantasy element to the splashes of Scottish history and beyond. I laughed, I learned, I loved...and I devoured it in mere days. Can't wait to spend more time with these characters in the next book.

What a rollercoaster of a book! Set in Glasgow with time travel through historical factual events! The central theme is going back in time to solve a family member murder! The journey takes us through many events with humour and keeps you focussed to the very last page ! Strongly recommend this book! Look forward to the sequel !

Glasgow humour, magic and amazing female characters - what’s not to love?!

I loved the characters and the Glasgow setting. The setting really emphasised the darkness that was going on in the story. Whilst it was a dark tale the main character lightened it up and it was a pleasure to go on the journey with her.

I was surprised at how I couldn't put this down. It's fast paced and gripping the whole way though. Looking forward to the next one!

I don’t normally write reviews but I thoroughly recommend this book!! Very funny, brilliant characters, couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait for the next one!

Great book, gripping, thrilling with amusing moments, loved it. Can’t wait for the next book!

I really liked the author's humor, that the main character is a little older than you'd expect, the obvious love for the city of Glasgow, and Frej. How I could adore a character who didn't talk for half the book so much, I don't know. But I did.
